2011 is going to be a special year – its our 20 th anniversary of the first paraglide flight manufactured by SOL Paragliders (FUN Gliders) - the Magic Fun 001-91 in green colour, meaning hope made its first flight on the Brava beach in August 1991 – only 8 months later and many prototypes and tests the Magic Fun 011-92 was sold- this canopy was present with distinction in the Brazilian championship 1992 by the hands of the pilot Ruy Marra and was sold to the pilot Gilberto – and a new era had started – the whole set of Fun was 45% less expensive than the available paraglide in the market – in less than 3 years it helped to double two times the numbers of pilots and schools in Brazil – so that how started the new era – the real presence of Paraglide in Brazil.

We have already started the New Year with much news regarding the products:

Torck 2 - EN D – following our safety and performance principles we are launching its successor- now in 3 lines, 73 cells, 7.01 of aspect ratio and high performance with special distinction when climbing the thermals – as we spend more of 40% our time twisting – we concentrated in this project on this: the performance is focused on what we have as best in this class in 2011.

CX3 - 2 kg lighter according with the harnesses for competition in the IAF 1 (probably IAF 2) - CX3 aims to improve the performance of pilot-canopy both when climbing as during transition- 10 cm shorter than the former one, new system of reserve container, more aerodynamic, optional with the” witch hat” – for who likes to fly with performance without giving up of the total certification - structure, protection and pilotage.

Spring 2 Spring 2 Airbag – it was not easy to improve the harness that has the best performance regarding safety in the world market, but we did it. We improved the results in safety in more than 12%, we accomplished high levels in protection safety tests that never have been done before, but now with a new container system and with a big reduction in the errors of handling.

SuperSonic 2011 and TR2 2011 – we are finishing the versions to the European season 2011 – increasing the efficiency of each one of these canopies.
