THE EDGE OF PERFORMANCE - 2 lines conception

The Tracer TR2 is the result of a new conception in competition wings. It offers a vast evolution in performance and stability in high speed.

It is targeted only to very experienced pilots who search for excellent results in competitions and distance flights.

Proper characteristics of the TR2 project:
- Mayor Aspect Ratio than serial wings on the market
- Real 2 lines conception with only 2 line attachments to the canopy – A and B
- Solid construction with new reinforcements, materials and sewing techniques applied to guarantee a better load distribution and more resistance to the whole wing project
- 100% progressive acceleration system – the 2 line concept permits the linear acceleration by the constant profile inclination, the aerodynamic in practice.

PILOT AND BEHAVIOR DURING THE FLIGHT

ImageThe Tracer TR2 is destined for an experienced and restricted group of pilots that pursue results in competitions and in long distance flights.

It is distinguished from other paragliders of this category by its whole efficiency: handling and an excellent result even when highly accelerated.

Tracer TR2 will be fully enjoyed only if piloted by someone who is experienced in flying high performance paragliders. Its behavior during the flight, even being secure to the category, demands pilot knowledge in order to avoid undesirable situations.

An active handling is necessary to fly with this class of paragliders.


PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY TECHNOLOGY:

Image• DVT - Double V-Tabs system of internal double crossed V-Tabs in the centre of the wing generating a solid structure for best lift in flight;

Image• HTM - High Technology Materials: : Vectran and Superaramid – gain of 40% in drag of the lines Reinforcements made of Isofilm guarantees stability in all load directions;

Image• HPAR - High Project Aspect Ratio: 11% higher A/R than its predecessors: real (8.01), projected (5.74);

Image• FHT - hybrid utilization of 3 types of fabric. A combination of durability and resistance with low deformation and less weight;

Image• LCT - Laser Tecnology: Molds and parts cut with laser equipment;

Image • SLS - Seamless Stabilo: The Stabilo’s leading edge has no junctures and is seamless;

Image • BT - Battens Technology: Flexible battens applied in order to maintain the profile characteristics in every moment of the flight;

All SOL paragliders are manufactured in our own plant, certified by DHV.
